How Bold Creators Shaped A Ugandan Entrepreneur

For years, Andrew poured his heart into growing Muzbag Safaris, his tour and travel business. But like many entrepreneurs, he carried unanswered questions about growth, excellence, and how to navigate the challenges of building something from the ground up.

When Andrew was introduced to Bold Creators, he had already been considering going back to school for a business certificate. Instead, he found something far richer: a Christ-centered community where he could learn business through a redemptive lens, alongside fellow entrepreneurs from Uganda and the United States.

Through online sessions, shared conversations, and eventually the Bold Creators Retreat, Andrew encountered a community that stretched his thinking and reshaped his approach, especially in how he viewed competitors. What once caused anxiety about competing businesses became an opportunity for prayer, partnership, and kingdom-minded collaboration.

Today, Andrew is taking bold steps toward opening his first office space (inspired by his U.S. mentors, Dave and Scott), strengthening his leadership, and pursuing excellence in both business and faith.

The Loaves & Fish of Redemptive Entrepreneurship

In the Gospel of Matthew, the disciples were tasked with feeding 5,000 people but had only five loaves and two fish. Clearly not enough.

Yet Jesus took what they offered, gave thanks, and multiplied it. By His power, He not only provided for the crowd but did so abundantly, leaving twelve baskets of leftovers for others to enjoy.

The lesson? We surrender and steward what we have. God multiplies it.

Paul and the early church understood this.

In his letter to the Corinthians, Paul reminds believers of their role and God’s role: “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow” (1 Corinthians 3:6, NIV).

We plant, we water, and we steward. But at the end of the day, God is the one who makes things grow.

And He does so in ways beyond our comprehension: “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us” (Ephesians 3:20, NIV).

What does that mean for the redemptive entrepreneur in God’s economy? It means:

  • Spot your loaves and fish from God.

  • Surrender your loaves and fish to God.

  • Steward your loaves and fish with God.

  • Legally Recognized — As of Wednesday, Nov 5, Bold Creators is officially registered as a non-profit in Uganda and formally recognized by the government.

The Bold Creators Retreat 3.0 is coming soon! Here’s what to know as you consider going or giving toward the trip:

  • Team — We’ll be taking 14 Americans and 36 Ugandans on the 2026 retreat, scheduled for Jul. 25-Aug. 2, 2026.

  • Retreat Selection Timeline — Applications are open Nov. 4–Dec. 31, 2025. Apply HERE.

  • Pre-Retreat Curriculum — Begins Tuesday, Mar. 3, 2026, featuring a 10-week virtual equipping program to prepare participants for the experience.
